The Yessios Museum, within the framework of its operation as an active educational and cultural institution, created 2 summer educational projects for children aged 4-6 and 7-12.
Through the activities "Discovering the Macedonian Struggle" and "Let's Solve the Riddles of the Macedonian Struggle!", children will learn, while having fun, through experiential activities, the history of the Macedonian Struggle.

PROGRAM A
Tuesday, 17/6/2025 

"I discover the Macedonian Struggle"

Starting from the Yessios Museum, children participate in a hunt for lost treasure with the award of the Macedonian Warrior's diploma. Using a map of the route that will lead them to the treasure, children will visit historical sites in the city while solving puzzles and riddles.
Returning to the Museum and after completing the first part of the activity, the children will do a break and they will be offered a healthy snack box while they will have the opportunity to rest.
In the second part of the action, there will be a reading of children's book "In the Secrets of the Swamp" by Penelope Delta, the children will discuss the Macedonian Struggle and they will paint whatever impressed them.
In the end they will be awarded the diploma of the Macedonian Warrior.

"Let's solve the riddles of the Macedonian Struggle"

Inside the Yessios Museum, the children will search and solve the riddles of the Macedonian Struggle so that they can become Macedonian fighters! Through gamification and their tour of the 3 sections of the Museum, will learn the history of the Macedonian Struggle.
In the second part of the action, the children will make a break and they will be offered a healthy snack box, while they will have the opportunity to rest. Then, they will play a memory game with the heroes of Macedonian Struggle. In the end they will be awarded the diploma and a photo of them as Macedonian Warriors.
